ARKANSAS COUNTY YOUTH GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
VPH partnered with ARCO YGD to bring the Vibe Safe Tour to DeWitt High School, delivering healthy relationships education and HIV prevention programming to rural youth in Arkansas County. ARCO promotes youth and family development through support, education, intervention, and positive engagement.
DEVANITY PUBLIC HEALTH SOLUTIONS
Devanity is a health educator that partners with VPH on the Vibe Check Tour, providing hands-on public health education and community outreach. Based in Little Rock, Devanity specializes in building the capacity of organizations delivering public health services across Arkansas.
ARKANSAS DIVISION OF ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY EDUCATION
Village Public Health is a registered Education Freedom Account (EFA) provider under the Arkansas LEARNS Act. VPH collaborates with DESE to align youth health education programming with state standards, offering approved courses that families can access through EFA funding.
PULASKI COUNTY YOUTH SERVICES
VPH hosts interns through Pulaski County Youth Services' workforce development program, giving young people real-world experience in public health. PCYS transforms the lives of youth and families through bold, inclusive programs that educate, empower, and uplift the next generation of leaders.
ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
Village Public Health is funded by the Arkansas Department of Health's Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) program to provide prevention-first initiatives to adolescents and young adults. Through this partnership, VPH delivers HIV health education, promotion, and community outreach across Arkansas.
OUSD EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM
VPH has partnered with Oakland Unified School District's Expanded Learning Program since 2021 to ensure safe learning environments through ongoing safety consultation. Together, we support before-school, after-school, and summer programming that prioritizes student wellbeing and health education.
ARKANSAS BLACK GAY MEN'S FORUM
VPH partners with the BGM Forum on Wellness in the Park, collaborating on community health events and HIV/STI prevention outreach. The Forum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving healthcare access, economic empowerment, and equal rights for Black gay men in Arkansas.
IMMERSE ARKANSAS
VPH provides health education and health promotion to the youth served by Immerse Arkansas, supporting young people aging out of foster care. Immerse builds pathways to healing by surrounding youth from crisis with unconditional relationships, tools, and a vision for their restored future.
PULASKI COUNTY JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER
VPH provides health education and health promotion to justice-involved youth at the Pulaski County Juvenile Detention Center, delivering prevention programming on healthy relationships, mental wellness, and life skills. The facility provides a safe, secure environment with meaningful rehabilitative programs for detained juveniles.
ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, STD PREVENTION PROGRAM
The Arkansas Department of Health STD Prevention Program funds VPH's Vibe Check Tour, supporting STD prevention education, screening referrals, and outreach for youth across Arkansas. The program works to significantly reduce sexually transmitted diseases through education, surveillance, and community partnerships.
LITTLE ROCK SOUTHWEST MAGNET HIGH SCHOOL
VPH provides support to the Well Squad at Southwest High School, connecting students with prevention-first health education, peer leadership development, and wellness programming. The Well Squad elevates the power of young people to lead health initiatives in their school community.
ARKANSAS BLACK HALL OF FAME FOUNDATION
Village Public Health Training Center is a 2025 grant recipient of the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation. ABHOF supports nonprofits working to create positive change for underserved communities in Arkansas through education, health and wellness, youth development, and economic development initiatives.
THE BOBBY PORTIS FOUNDATION
The Bobby Portis Foundation is a thought partner for Village Public Health's Mental Health Awareness Month programming, helping us elevate the youth mental health crisis as the public health emergency it is. Founded by Arkansas native and NBA champion Bobby Portis, the Foundation invests in mental wellness, education, and opportunity for young people in Arkansas and beyond.
