For the Mamas Who See It
He's pulling away. He's carrying something heavy and won't talk about it. You stay up at night wondering if he's okay — really okay. You're doing everything right and still feel like you're losing him to silence, screens, or the streets. You are not imagining it. And you don't have to figure it out alone.
Suicide rates among Black Americans have risen 53% over the last decade. For the first time in recorded history, young Black men are dying by suicide at a higher rate than young white men.

The Program
A five-month structured group coaching experience for Black teen boys ages 13–18 in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Led by Dr. Quinyatta Mumford, DrPH, CHES — public health doctor, certified Teen Mental Health First Aid instructor, and self-described "public health mama."
PILLAR 01
Young kings learn who they are before the world labels them. Grounded in strength-based, culturally affirming frameworks.
PILLAR 02
Evidence-based tools from the Mind Matters curriculum help boys name, process, and manage what they feel — without shutting down.
PILLAR 03
We build on what's strong, not just what's wrong. Youth identify their strengths, set goals, and develop a vision for their future.
PILLAR 04
A curated group of peers who become a crew. Safe, consistent, and facilitated — real connection in a world full of noise.

How It Works
Little Rock / North Little Rock location. Facilitated group experience — the porch light moments that change everything.
Live, structured Zoom sessions that keep momentum going between in-person meetings.
Every young king receives his own curriculum workbook — tools he keeps long after the program ends.
This is not a class. It's a crew. Small by design so every young man is seen, known, and invested in.
You're not left in the dark. Monthly updates so you can support what's happening at home.
A closing ceremony honoring each young king's growth, with family invited. This one matters.
