Investing in Youth Mental Health Leadership.
Village Public Health, Inc. is proud to be one of 505 small businesses nationwide selected for the Amex Shop Small® Grants Program, made possible by American Express and Main Street America. This $20,000 grant supported our 2026 Summer Institute, a four-week youth mental health leadership program. Nine high school students from eight schools took part, completing 202.5 cumulative service hours with 94% attendance. Every participant earned Teen Mental Health First Aid certification, so each one now knows how to recognize when a peer is struggling and connect them to help. Thank you to American Express and Main Street America for investing in the young people building healthier schools and communities across Arkansas.
